FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
NHRA races bring together passionate fans, competitors, and families to celebrate the sport of drag racing. That passion is welcome and encouraged but must be expressed in a manner that supports a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for everyone in attendance.
Those in attendance are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports the safety of the event, complies with applicable laws and venue policies, and does not interfere with the enjoyment of others. Enthusiastic support of the sport is encouraged; conduct that is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or threatening will not be tolerated.
NHRA reserves the right to take action in response to violations of this Fan Code of Conduct, including removal from the event without refund and, where warranted, additional sanctions.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited at NHRA events:
- Fighting, physical altercations, or threatening behavior toward any individual
- Harassment, intimidation, or use of abusive, obscene, or discriminatory language or gestures
- Failure or refusal to comply with requests or instructions from NHRA personnel, venue staff, security, or law enforcement
- Disorderly, disruptive, or dangerous behavior that creates a safety risk, disrupts the event, or interferes with the experience of others, including throwing objects or inciting others to engage in such conduct
- Entering or attempting to enter restricted or unauthorized areas without proper authorization or credentials
- Being visibly intoxicated or impaired by alcohol or other substances in a manner that presents a safety concern
- Damaging, destroying, defacing, or tampering with property
- Throwing objects
- Smoking in grandstands or other spectator viewing areas, including the use of electronic cigarettes, vaping devices, or similar products. Guests who smoke may do so only in designated areas located at least twenty (20) feet away from buildings, seating entrances, or spectator areas
- Operation of drones or unmanned aircraft systems without express authorization
- Use of cameras, recording devices, or other equipment for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Possession of weapons or firearms
- Display of signs, flags, banners, or other displays (including clothing items) that are obscene, discriminatory, unsafe, or that obstruct views, aisles, or walkways
- Unauthorized sale, solicitation, or promotion of goods, services, or materials
Guests with tickets or credentials for restricted areas may be subject to additional rules, regulations, and policies.
